Meet Kristy!
in Who is Dime?
We’re going to take a little break from the Insurance discussion today… Please join me in welcoming Kristy to our Ps20 team. Kristy comes to us with a very impressive resume and will be assuming the role of Senior Accountant. For many of you, she will be your main point of contact regarding all bookkeeping functions. I’m confident you will love working with her! Not only is Kristy a great, experienced, and professional accountant, but she’s very personable and approachable. We are so excited that she has decided to join our team!
A note from Kristy:
I am very excited to be the newest addition to the PS20 staff! For the last four years I have been managing my household, husband, and two very active little girls! I decided it was time to go back to work and utilize my accounting skills and interests. When I started my accounting career, I worked in a small accounting firm working with small businesses maintaining their books, financial statements, bank reconciliations, and processing quarterly employment income taxes. After that I moved on to a larger firm. That is when I joined Andersen Worldwide/Arthur Andersen. There I worked with large general ledger accounts, journal entries, budgets and forecasts, staff accountant training, and other misc. accounting functions. After leaving Arthur Anderson, I began working at Baxter Healthcare. Baxter has been a leader in the Healthcare industry for 75 years and employs approximately 45,000 people worldwide. In the four years I worked there, I moved from a financial analyst up to a project manager/manager working in various roles in manufacturing/inventory accounting and the accounts payable departments. I worked with many employees all around the world, and was even able to travel to most of the US manufacturing plants (including Puerto Rico) and those in Mexico and the Dominican Republic. In addition to my professional career, I have served in various positions in the different churches I have attended. Those positions include administrative assistant, treasurer, and the coordinator of the MOPPETS portion (children’s classes) of our MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) program. I am excited to get back to working with small businesses and churches and look forward to working with each of you. Please feel free to contact me anytime.
